Here’s another lapdesk that looks far more comfortable than the plain flat pieces of plastic that used to pass as a lapdesk.  This has the best of both worlds, the hard plastic top that props up the laptop and keeps it sturdy.  While also having a nice soft cushion that rests between you and your laptop.  Keeping you cool, as well as comfortable.  Which if you work on your laptop a great deal, is highly ideal.  It’s far cheaper than some of the other lapdesks that feature a comfortable design.

The ThinkPad USB Portable is a 128-bit encryption hard drive with dedicated keypad. With the on-board keypad you can easily encrypt the data, and with a proper decryption key you can decrypt the data. The drive is less than an inch thick and is smaller than a 3 x 5 index card, yet provides 160GB ($179) or 320GB ($219) storage space. The drive can support up to 10 separate user IDs with 10 different security keys. The Lenovo ThinkPad USB Portable Hard Drives will be available later this year.
